As part of its annual planning process, Lincoln Housing Authority developed a Resident Advisory Board. These board members are appointed by the LHA Board of Commissioners and serve a one year term from October through September. The membership is representative of all housing authority programs and participants.
The Resident Advisory Board typically meets two to three times each year in the fall to have detailed review and discussion of the annual plan the policies that govern the housing programs. Input from the Resident Advisory Board is considered by management as well as the LHA Board of Commissioners before the annual plan is finally approved in January each year.
Depending on need, the Resident Advisory Board may meet at other times of the year to review progress on issues or consider new policies.
