Homeless Voucher Program
The Homeless Voucher Program awards housing assistance to homeless families or individuals who are willing to participate in case management through local human service agencies for at least one year to address issues that have led to homelessness and work towards self-sufficiency.
The Lincoln Housing Authority reserves sixty-five vouchers for the program's use. Representatives of various local human service agencies make up the Homeless Voucher Program's committee. The committee meets weekly to coordinate and manage the waiting list and pre-screen prospective voucher recipients.
